Hello!

Hello everyone! Welcome to The Next Page. I created this blog to share pictures of my time abroad in the next 10 weeks. This is the first time I will be living in a different country and I am very excited! 😄

Here's what I will be doing:

First of all, my mom and I will be visiting Spain for about 5 days. We will be going to Madrid and Toledo!

Then we will head to my first host family's home in Montpellier, France. I will be staying with Emilie (the girl who I'm doing the exchange with) and her family for a month!

After my time with Emilie in Montpellier, I will go to my next host family's home in La Motte-Servolex which is near Chambéry. I will be doing an exchange with a girl named Oriane for another month.

From Oriane's home, I will travel to Paris and stay there with a local family for a few days!
I'm doing the two exchanges using a site called Lingoo. It is a website to find exchange partners as well as language teachers and paid homestays. The best thing about the exchanges that I am doing is that they are free (except for the plane tickets, of course) and that the French girls will come here in the summer for a month each!

  1. Hannah, I am so excited for you! You will have so many wonderful experiences and will make many new friends. You have so much to give and will build the lives of everyone you touch just as they will build yours. Last night you gave an amazing and beautiful piano recital along with brother Josh. It was a beautiful gift to all of us who attended and we love seeing the young woman you have become. What great things God has in store for you you!! I'll be following you blog and praying for you every day. With love... Gramma Susan (the Washington one)
